One of the cheapest and most efficient ways to obtain a new vehicle if you are looking for one, is by attending a police car auction. Public bidding makes these cars obtainable by anybody who cares to attend an auction. These cars are usually vehicles that were used in some sort of crime, so they were seized. The crime is usually drug trafficking or smuggling and the cars usually get sold for well under market value.
If you are looking to get a new vehicle but cannot afford much, I highly recommend that you look into a police car auction. Publicly held, they come up every so often in every state. Governmentauctions.org is a great way to find out where they are being held, and how often. It is a good idea to take a friend with you who is a mechanic or knows a lot about cars. The reason for this is because you are usually not able to test drive the cars before you purchase them, and they do not come with any form of warranty or guarantee in most cases.
