I don’t need to tell you that today’s economy isn’t very good. Many people are having a hard time making ends meet. But, and this is a fact of life, there’s always a silver lining. The only problem with online auto auctions is that since you won’t be on the lot and able to kick the tires and look under the hood, you can sometimes get caught with a lemon. But frankly, since most of the time you’ll be paying so little for the car, that’s a risk you can take.

Some online sites offer only the most top of the line previously owned cars, others deal with all types of cars, including cars that people have donated in order to get a tax refund, and so on. (Those are the kinds of cars you can pick up very cheaply.)
In addition, depending on where you live, you don’t need to make your bid online. You can look at the cars, familiarize yourself with them – all these sites will have photos of each offering and a few even have videos – and then, if you live anywhere near where the auction is actually taking place, you can go down on the day and make your bid for the car – or cars, you want.
