I grew up in California and saw what illegal imigration does to a states economy. I also understand that several states are in legal action against the federal governmet concerning this issue. What I want to know is why it is so difficult for the elected officials, chosen by the people, doing so little in protecting this country from all forms of threats? Why are illegal immigrants allowed to run up my medical premiums? Why are public schools teaching spanish as a “primary” language instead of
english? Why, Why,WHY?!?!

Even my wife, an immigrant from Europe, does not understand and is interested in free citizenship that the illegal immigrants want so badly.

Regarding the U.S.-Mexico wall-Wouldn´t it be a lot cheaper just to be sure there are NO jobs available for them?! This way thaey will hve no reason to invade us! Also-are you aware of the BILLIONS of dollars they are sending back to Mexico? And what it does to our economy?!! This is Mexico´s BIGGEST business-ABOVE Pemex!!

Aside from your “pet” issues, which I see as a smokescreen on the real issues…… What do you think of our loss of industrial base, how do you think this impacts our country, and how do you view the worsening trade defict with China? Sir, if you have any cajones, at all, you will cease with your pet issues, and get with the issues that impact ALL of us.

Aren't you ashamed that you have placed a hold on a judicial nominee because she attended a gay committment ceremony as a guest? Also, by what divine right do you expect her to tell you her feelings towards gay issues that may come before her as a judge? To tell you her feelings would obviously require her to disassociate herself from any cases regarding gays…

This countries “christian” values seem to be under attack daily by groups who seem to have lost sight of the “majority” and pushing for the one or rights for a “minority group”. The one in the forefront is Gay Marriages. I find this so confusing. We celebrate “Gay Pride” in this counry and yet ther is no “Hetero Sexual Pride” celebations. And yet, on news, television programing, comercials and everywhere I turn it is being forced on the public. Now, do not get me wrong, I do beleive in tolerance, but this “acceptance” of a life style and as stated before, “the issue being forced down my throat” is making me wonder why elected officials are not doing more in defending Christiaqn values and the sanctity of marriage?
